SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Hoxb8 (homeobox B8) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Hoxb8 qPCR Primer Set – homeobox B8
Also known as: Hox-2.4
About this gene: Hoxb8 enables DNA-binding transcription repressor activity, RNA polymerase II-specific and sequence-specific DNA binding activity. It is involved in negative regulation of myeloid cell differentiation and negative regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Acts upstream of or within multiple processes, including dorsal spinal cord development; embryonic skeletal system morphogenesis; and grooming behavior. Predicted to be active in nucleus.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 15416; UniProt: P09632; Chromosome location: 11 D|11 59.82 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
