SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Hic1 (hypermethylated in cancer 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Hic1 qPCR Primer Set – hypermethylated in cancer 1
Also known as: HIC-1
About this gene: Hic1 is predicted to enable DNA-binding transcription repressor activity, RNA polymerase II-specific; histone deacetylase binding activity; and sequence-specific double-stranded DNA binding activity. It is involved in intrinsic apoptotic signaling pathway in response to DNA damage; negative regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II; and positive regulation of DNA damage response, signal transduction by p53 class mediator.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 15248; UniProt: Q9R1Y5; Chromosome location: 11 B5|11 45.76 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
