SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Heph (hephaestin, also called Hp) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Heph qPCR Primer Set – hephaestin
Also known as: C130006F04Rik, Cpl, Hp, mKIAA0698, sla
About this gene: Heph enables ferroxidase activity. It is involved in intestinal iron absorption; multicellular organismal-level iron ion homeostasis; and positive regulation of iron export across plasma membrane. Predicted to be active in basolateral plasma membrane.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 15203; UniProt: Q9Z0Z4; Chromosome location: X C3|X 42.69 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
