About this gene: Ambp encodes a fusion protein that undergoes proteolytic processing to generate two mature proteins: alpha-1-microglobulin is a heme-binding plasma glycoprotein of the lipocalin superfamily of proteins that bind to hydrophobic molecules. The transgenic mice specifically lacking bikunin, but not A1m, exhibit female infertility and an increased sensitivity to lung metastasis.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
