SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Grm8 (glutamate receptor, metabotropic 8, also called mGluR8) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Grm8 qPCR Primer Set – glutamate receptor, metabotropic 8
Also known as: A230002O04, GluR8, Gprc1h, mGluR8
About this gene: Grm8 enables group III metabotropic glutamate receptor activity. It is predicted to be involved in multiple processes, including detection of mechanical stimulus involved in sensory perception of pain; glutamatergic synaptic transmission; and modulation of chemical synaptic transmission. Predicted to be active in GABA-ergic synapse; glutamatergic synapse; and presynaptic active zone membrane.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 14823; UniProt: P47743; Chromosome location: 6 A3.1- A3.2|6 11.97 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
