SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Alox12b (arachidonate 12-lipoxygenase, 12R type) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Alox12b qPCR Primer Set – arachidonate 12-lipoxygenase, 12R type
Also known as: 12R-LOX, Aloxe2, e-LOX2
About this gene: Alox12b encodes a enzyme involved in the conversion of arachidonic acid to 12R-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid. Mutations in Alox12b can prevent the formation of the epidermal permeability barrier and cause an ichthyosiform phenotype.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11686; UniProt: O70582; Chromosome location: 11 B3|11 42.38 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
