About this gene: The Gpx3 protein belongs to the glutathione peroxidase family, members of which catalyze the reduction of organic hydroperoxides and hydrogen peroxide by glutathione, and thereby protect cells against oxidative damage. Several isozymes of Gpx3 family exist in vertebrates, which vary in cellular location and substrate specificity. This isozyme is secreted and is highly expressed in mouse kidney, which appears to be the major source of the enzyme in plasma.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
