SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Aldob (aldolase B, fructose-bisphosphate) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Aldob qPCR Primer Set – aldolase B, fructose-bisphosphate
Also known as: Aldo-2, Aldo2
About this gene: Aldob encodes a subunit of the homotetrameric enzyme aldolase B, an isozyme of the class I fructose 1,6-bisphosphate aldolase enzyme. This enzyme catalyzes the conversion of fructose 1,6-bisphosphate to dihydroxyacetone phosphate and glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate. Homozygous knockout mice for Aldob exhibit liver damage and death following fructose ingestion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 230163; UniProt: Q91Y97; Chromosome location: 4 B1|4 26.57 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
