Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Glrb (glycine receptor, beta subunit) gene expression by real-time PCR.

Mouse Glrb qPCR Primer Set – glycine receptor, beta subunit

Also known as: Glyrb, spa, spastic

About this gene: Glrb encodes a beta subunit of the glycine receptor, which is a pentamer composed of alpha and beta subunits. The receptor acts as a neurotransmitter-gated ion channel, which produces hyperpolarization via increased chloride conductance due to the binding of glycine to the receptor. Glrb is transcribed throughout the central nervous system of neonatal and adult mice.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 14658; UniProt: P48168; Chromosome location: 3 E3|3 35.71 cM

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
