About this gene: Fance encodes a complementation group E subunit of the multimeric Fanconi anemia nuclear complex composed of proteins encoded by over ten Fanconi anemia complementation group genes: FANCA, FANCB, FANCC, FANCD1, FANCD2, FANCE, FANCF, FANCG, FANCI, FANCJ, FANCL. Fance product is required for the nuclear accumulation of FANCC and provides a critical bridge between the FA complex and FANCD2. Defects in the related human gene are a cause of Fanconi anemia, a genetically heterogeneous recessive disorder characterized by cytogenetic instability, hypersensitivity to DNA crosslinking agents, increased chromosomal breakage, and defective DNA repair.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
