About this gene: The Fabp6 protein is part of the fatty acid binding protein family. FABPs are a family of small, highly conserved, cytoplasmic proteins that bind long-chain fatty acids and other hydrophobic ligands and participate in fatty acid uptake, transport, and metabolism. The Fabp6 protein functions within the ileum, the distal 25-30% of the small intestine, and is involved in enterohepatic circulation of bile acids and cholesterol homeostasis.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
