About this gene: Enpp1 belongs to the nucleoside pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase family of enzymes that catalyzes the hydrolysis of pyrophosphate and phosphodiester bonds in nucleotide triphosphates and oligonucleotides, respectively, to generate nucleoside 5'-monophosphates. The Enpp1 protein is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein that negatively regulates bone mineralization. Mice harboring a nonsense mutation in Enpp1, termed tiptoe walking, exhibit ectopic ossification of the spinal ligaments.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
