SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Agt (angiotensinogen) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Agt qPCR Primer Set – angiotensinogen
Also known as: AngI, AngII, Aogen, Serpina8
About this gene: Agt enables receptor ligand activity; type 1 angiotensin receptor binding activity; and type 2 angiotensin receptor binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway; angiotensin-mediated vasodilation involved in regulation of systemic arterial blood pressure; and positive regulation of insulin secretion involved in cellular response to glucose stimulus. It acts upstream of or within multiple processes, including hormone secretion; positive regulation of protein phosphorylation; and regulation of systemic arterial blood pressure by renin-angiotensin.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11606; Chromosome location: 8 E2|8 72.81 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
