SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Eif5a (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 5A, also called eIF-5A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Eif5a qPCR Primer Set – eukaryotic translation initiation factor 5A
Also known as: D19Wsu54e, Eif4d, Eif5a1, eIF-4D, eIF-5A, eIF-5A-1, eIF-5A1
About this gene: Eif5a encodes a elongation initiation factor, which participates in protein synthesis. The Eif5a protein also plays roles in mRNA metabolism, cell proliferation, and cell cycle control. The Eif5a protein contains a modified lysine residue called hypusine, which appears to be necessary for its function.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 276770; UniProt: P63242; Chromosome location: 11 B3|11 42.92 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
