SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Eif4g1 (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4, gamma 1, also called eIF-4G1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Eif4g1 qPCR Primer Set – eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4, gamma 1
Also known as: E030015G23Rik, eIF-4-gamma 1, eIF-4G 1, eIF-4G1, eIF4GI
About this gene: Eif4g1 belongs to the eukaryotic translation initiation factors that play important roles in translation initiation by mediating recruitment of additional initiation factors and providing a scaffold for ribosome/mRNA-bridging. Along with eIF4A and eIF4E, the Eif4g1 protein forms the eIF4F complex that bridges the 5' UTR with the polyadenylated 3' UTR resulting in mRNA circularization, enhanced translation initiation and mRNA stability.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 208643; UniProt: Q6NZJ6; Chromosome location: 16 A3|16 12.49 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
