SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Egf (epidermal growth factor) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Egf qPCR Primer Set – epidermal growth factor
About this gene: Egf encodes epidermal growth factor, the founding member of the EGF family of growth factors that are implicated in cell proliferation and differentiation. The Egf protein can localize to the membrane and function in juxtacrine signaling or undergo proteolytic processing to generate a soluble form of the hormone. Mice lacking the Egf protein do not exhibit an abnormal phenotype but transgenic mice overexpressing the Egf protein exhibit hypospermatogenesis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 13645; UniProt: P01132; Chromosome location: 3 G3|3 58.5 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
