SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Dmpk (dystrophia myotonica-protein kinase, also called DMK) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Dmpk qPCR Primer Set – dystrophia myotonica-protein kinase
Also known as: DM, DMK, Dm15, MDPK, MT-PK
About this gene: The Dmpk protein is a serine/threonine protein kinase that contains coiled-coil and C-terminal membrane association domains. In the embryonic mouse, it is found in cardiac and skeletal myocytes where it appears to play a role in myogenesis. In adults, the transcript is localized to multiple tissues including brain, heart, and skeletal and smooth muscle, and a function in cytoskeletal remodeling has been described.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 13400; UniProt: P54265; Chromosome location: 7 A3|7 9.46 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
