Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Dmgdh (dimethylglycine dehydrogenase precursor, also called ME2GLYDH) gene expression by real-time PCR.

Mouse Dmgdh qPCR Primer Set – dimethylglycine dehydrogenase precursor

Also known as: 1200014D15Rik

About this gene: Dmgdh encodes a enzyme involved in the catabolism of choline, catalyzing the oxidative demethylation of dimethylglycine to form sarcosine. The enzyme is found as a monomer in the mitochondrial matrix, and uses flavin adenine dinucleotide and folate as cofactors.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 74129; UniProt: Q9DBT9; Chromosome location: 13 C3|13 47.88 cM

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
