Mouse Adrb2 qPCR Primer Set – adrenergic receptor, beta 2
Also known as: Adrb-2, Badm, Gpcr7
About this gene: This intronless gene belongs to the G-protein-coupled receptor superfamily, which includes transmembrane proteins that play a role in signal transduction across biological membranes resulting in a variety of physiological responses. The Adrb2 protein is a beta-2 adrenergic receptor which is activated by catecholamine ligands such as adrenaline and epinephrine. The protein participates in the classical signaling pathway involving G protein, adenylyl cyclase, cAMP and protein kinase A. In humans, Adrb2 is implicated in susceptibility to nocturnal asthma, obesity and type 2 diabetes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11555; UniProt: P18762; Chromosome location: 18 E1|18 35.1 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
