SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Ddx4 (DEAD box helicase 4, also called Mvh) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Ddx4 qPCR Primer Set – DEAD box helicase 4
Also known as: Mvh, VASA
About this gene: Ddx4 enables ATP hydrolysis activity. It is involved in male meiotic nuclear division; secondary piRNA processing; and transposable element silencing by piRNA-mediated DNA methylation. Acts upstream of with a positive effect on transposable element silencing by piRNA-mediated heterochromatin formation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 13206; UniProt: Q61496; Chromosome location: 13 D2.2|13 63.87 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
