SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Dct (dopachrome tautomerase, also called DT) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Dct qPCR Primer Set – dopachrome tautomerase
Also known as: DT, TRP-2, TRP2, Tyrp-2, Tyrp2, slaty, slt
About this gene: Dct enables dopachrome isomerase activity. It is involved in eye pigmentation and melanin biosynthetic process from tyrosine. It acts upstream of or within multiple processes, including melanin biosynthetic process; positive regulation of neuroblast proliferation; and ventricular zone neuroblast division.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 13190; UniProt: P29812; Chromosome location: 14 E4|14 61.6 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
