SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Adm2 (adrenomedullin 2, also called Intermedin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Adm2 qPCR Primer Set – adrenomedullin 2
Also known as: Am2, IMD, Imdn
About this gene: Adm2 belongs to the calcitonin gene-related peptide/calcitonin family of hormones that play a role in the regulation of cardiovascular homeostasis, prolactin release, anti-diuresis, anti-natriuresis, and regulation of food and water intake. The Adm2 protein is proteolytically processed to generate one or more biologically active peptides. Intravenous injection of the active peptide was found to protect mouse lungs from ischemia/reperfusion injury.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 223780; UniProt: Q7TNK8; Chromosome location: 15 E3|15 44.81 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
