About this gene: Adipor1 encodes a receptor for the fat-derived hormone adiponectin. Binding of adiponectin to the Adipor1 protein leads to activation of an AMP-activated kinase signaling pathway which affects levels of fatty acid oxidation and insulin sensitivity. Homozygous knockout mice for Adipor1 exhibit elevated plasma glucose and insulin levels as well as impaired glucose tolerance.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
