About this gene: The encoded gene product is responsible for catabolism of gamma-aminobutyric acid, a mostly inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, into succinic semialdehyde. Deficiency of this encoded protein includes psychomotor retardation, hypotonia, hyperreflexia, lethargy, refractory seizures, and EEG abnormalities.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
