SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Ctsd (cathepsin D) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Ctsd qPCR Primer Set – cathepsin D
Also known as: CD, CatD
About this gene: Ctsd enables aspartic-type endopeptidase activity. It is involved in insulin catabolic process and insulin receptor recycling. It acts upstream of or within autophagosome assembly.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 13033; UniProt: P18242; Chromosome location: 7 F5|7 87.93 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
