About this gene: Cpa2 belongs to the carboxypeptidase A family of zinc metalloproteases. The encoded preproprotein undergoes proteolytic processing that removes the N-terminal activation peptide to generate a functional enzyme. Cpa2 is expressed by the pancreatic exocrine cells which secrete the enzyme during digestion.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
