Mouse Adam2 qPCR Primer Set – a disintegrin and metallopeptidase domain 2

Also known as: Ftnb, Ph30-beta

About this gene: Adam2 belongs to a disintegrin and metalloprotease family of endoproteases that play important roles in various biological processes including cell signaling, adhesion and migration. Adam2 is predominantly expressed in the epididymis, where the encoded preproprotein undergoes proteolytic processing to generate a mature, functional protein. Male mice lacking the Adam2 protein are infertile and exhibit multiple defects in reproduction.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11495; UniProt: Q60718; Chromosome location: 14 D1|14 34.36 cM

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
