Human WDFY3 qPCR Primer Set – WD repeat and FYVE domain containing 3
Also known as: ALFY, BCHS, MCPH18, ZFYVE25
About this gene: WDFY3 encodes a phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate-binding protein that acts as a master conductor for aggregate clearance by autophagy. The WDFY3 protein shuttles from the nuclear membrane to colocalize with aggregated proteins, where it complexes with other autophagic components to achieve macroautophagy-mediated clearance of these aggregated proteins. However, it is not necessary for starvation-induced macroautophagy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23001; HGNC ID: HGNC:20751; UniProt: Q8IZQ1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014991.6; Chromosome location: 4q21.23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
