Human BUD23 qPCR Primer Set – BUD23 rRNA methyltransferase and ribosome maturation factor
Also known as: HASJ4442, HUSSY-3, MERM1, PP3381, WBMT, WBSCR22
About this gene: BUD23 encodes a protein containing a nuclear localization signal and an S-adenosyl-L-methionine binding motif typical of methyltransferases, suggesting that the BUD23 protein may act on DNA methylation. BUD23 is deleted in Williams syndrome, a multisystem developmental disorder caused by the deletion of contiguous genes at 7q11.23.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 114049; HGNC ID: HGNC:16405; UniProt: O43709; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_017528.5; Chromosome location: 7q11.23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
