About this gene: MLXIPL encodes a basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper transcription factor of the Myc/Max/Mad superfamily. The MLXIPL protein forms a heterodimeric complex and binds and activates, in a glucose-dependent manner, carbohydrate response element motifs in the promoters of triglyceride synthesis genes. The gene is deleted in Williams-Beuren syndrome, a multisystem developmental disorder caused by the deletion of contiguous genes at chromosome 7q11.23.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
