Human WAS qPCR Primer Set – WASP actin nucleation promoting factor

Also known as: IMD2, SCNX, THC, THC1, WASP, WASPA

About this gene: The Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome family of proteins share similar domain structure, and are involved in transduction of signals from receptors on the cell surface to the actin cytoskeleton. The presence of a number of different motifs suggests that they are regulated by a number of different stimuli, and interact with multiple proteins. Recent studies have demonstrated that these proteins, directly or indirectly, associate with the small GTPase, Cdc42, known to regulate formation of actin filaments, and the cytoskeletal organizing complex, Arp2/3.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7454; HGNC ID: HGNC:12731; UniProt: P42768; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000377.3; Chromosome location: Xp11.23

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
