SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human VTN (vitronectin, also called VN) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human VTN qPCR Primer Set – vitronectin
Also known as: V75, VN, VNT
About this gene: The VTN protein functions in part as an adhesive glycoprotein. Differential expression of this protein can promote either cell adhesion or migration as it links cells to the extracellular matrix through a variety of ligands. These ligands include integrins, plasminogen activator inhibitor-1, and urokinase plasminogen activator receptor.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7448; HGNC ID: HGNC:12724; UniProt: P04004; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000638.4; Chromosome location: 17q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
