About this gene: The VSX1 protein contains a paired-like homeodomain and binds to the core of the locus control region of the red/green visual pigment gene cluster. The VSX1 protein may regulate expression of the cone opsin genes early in development. Mutations in VSX1 can cause posterior polymorphous corneal dystrophy and keratoconus.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
