About this gene: Pheromones are chemical signals that elicit specific behavioral responses and physiologic alterations in recipients of the same species. The VN1R1 protein is similar to pheromone receptors and is primarily localized to the olfactory mucosa. An alternate splice variant of VN1R1 is believed to exist, but its full length nature has not been determined.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
