SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human BEST2 (bestrophin 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human BEST2 qPCR Primer Set – bestrophin 2
Also known as: VMD2L1
About this gene: BEST2 belongs to the bestrophin gene family of anion channels. Bestrophin genes share a similar gene structure with highly conserved exon-intron boundaries, but with distinct 3' ends. Bestrophins are transmembrane proteins that contain a homologous region rich in aromatic residues, including an invariant arg-phe-pro motif.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 54831; HGNC ID: HGNC:17107; UniProt: Q8NFU1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_017682.3; Chromosome location: 19p13.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
