SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human BEST1 (bestrophin 1, also called TU15B) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human BEST1 qPCR Primer Set – bestrophin 1
Also known as: ARB, BEST, BMD, Best1V1Delta2, RP50, TU15B, VMD2
About this gene: BEST1 belongs to the bestrophin gene family. This small gene family is characterized by proteins with a highly conserved N-terminus with four to six transmembrane domains. Bestrophins may form chloride ion channels or may regulate voltage-gated L-type calcium-ion channels.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7439; HGNC ID: HGNC:12703; UniProt: O76090; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004183.4; Chromosome location: 11q12.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
