SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human VLDLR (very low density lipoprotein receptor, also called VLDL-R) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human VLDLR qPCR Primer Set – very low density lipoprotein receptor
Also known as: CAMRQ1, CARMQ1, CHRMQ1, VLDL-R, VLDLRCH
About this gene: The low density lipoprotein receptor gene family consists of cell surface proteins involved in receptor-mediated endocytosis of specific ligands. VLDLR encodes a lipoprotein receptor that belongs to the LDLR family and plays important roles in VLDL-triglyceride metabolism and the reelin signaling pathway. Mutations in VLDLR cause VLDLR-associated cerebellar hypoplasia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7436; HGNC ID: HGNC:12698; UniProt: P98155; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003383.5; Chromosome location: 9p24.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
