About this gene: VAX2 encodes a homeobox protein and is almost exclusively expressed in the ventral portion of the retina during development. In mouse studies, VAX2 was found to be required for the correct formation of the optic fissure and other aspects of retinal development.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
