SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human VAMP2 (vesicle associated membrane protein 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human VAMP2 qPCR Primer Set – vesicle associated membrane protein 2
Also known as: NEDHAHM, SYB2, VAMP-2
About this gene: The VAMP2 protein belongs to the vesicle-associated membrane protein/synaptobrevin family. Synaptobrevins/VAMPs, syntaxins, and the 25-kD synaptosomal-associated protein SNAP25 are the main components of a protein complex involved in the docking and/or fusion of synaptic vesicles with the presynaptic membrane. VAMP2 is believed to participate in neurotransmitter release at a step between docking and fusion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6844; HGNC ID: HGNC:12643; UniProt: P63027; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014232.3; Chromosome location: 17p13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
