SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human UVRAG (UV radiation resistance associated, also called p63) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human UVRAG qPCR Primer Set – UV radiation resistance associated
Also known as: DHTX, VPS38, p63
About this gene: UVRAG complements the ultraviolet sensitivity of xeroderma pigmentosum group C cells and encodes a protein with a C2 domain. The protein activates the Beclin1-PIKC3 complex, promoting autophagy and suppressing the proliferation and tumorigenicity of human colon cancer cells. Chromosomal aberrations involving UVRAG are linked to left-right axis malformation and mutations in UVRAG have been linked to colon cancer.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7405; HGNC ID: HGNC:12640; UniProt: Q9P2Y5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003369.4; Chromosome location: 11q13.5
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
