SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human USP8 (ubiquitin specific peptidase 8, also called hUBPy) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human USP8 qPCR Primer Set – ubiquitin specific peptidase 8
Also known as: HumORF8, PITA4, SPG59, UBPY
About this gene: USP8 encodes a protein that belongs to the ubiquitin-specific processing protease family of proteins. The USP8 protein is believed to regulate the morphology of the endosome by ubiquitination of proteins on this organelle and is involved in cargo sorting and membrane trafficking at the early endosome stage. The USP8 protein is required for the cell to enter the S phase of the cell cycle and also acts as a positive regulator in the Hedgehog signaling pathway in development.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9101; HGNC ID: HGNC:12631; UniProt: P40818; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005154.5; Chromosome location: 15q21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
