SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human USP20 (ubiquitin specific peptidase 20, also called hVDU2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human USP20 qPCR Primer Set – ubiquitin specific peptidase 20
Also known as: LSFR3A, VDU2, hVDU2
About this gene: USP20 encodes a ubiquitin specific processing protease that was first identified as a substrate of the VHL protein E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. In addition to being ubiquitinated by the VHL-E3 ligase complex, this enzyme deubiquitinates hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha and thereby causes increased expression of HIF-1alpha targeted genes which play a role in angiogenesis, glucose metabolism, cell proliferation and metastasis. The enzyme encoded by USP20 also regulates G-protein coupled receptor signaling by mediating the deubiquitination of beta-2 adrenergic receptor.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10868; HGNC ID: HGNC:12619; UniProt: Q9Y2K6; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001110303.4; Chromosome location: 9q34.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
