SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human USP16 (ubiquitin specific peptidase 16) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human USP16 qPCR Primer Set – ubiquitin specific peptidase 16
Also known as: UBP-M, UBPM
About this gene: USP16 encodes a deubiquitinating enzyme that is phosphorylated at the onset of mitosis and then dephosphorylated at the metaphase/anaphase transition. The USP16 gene product can deubiquitinate H2A, one of two major ubiquitinated proteins of chromatin, in vitro and a mutant form of the protein was shown to block cell division. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10600; HGNC ID: HGNC:12614; UniProt: Q9Y5T5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006447.3; Chromosome location: 21q21.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
