SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human UQCRB (ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase binding protein, also called QP-C) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human UQCRB qPCR Primer Set – ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase binding protein
Also known as: MC3DN3, QCR7, QP-C, QPC, UQBC, UQBP, UQCR6, UQPC
About this gene: UQCRB encodes a subunit of the ubiquinol-cytochrome c oxidoreductase complex, which consists of one mitochondrial-encoded and 10 nuclear-encoded subunits. The UQCRB protein binds ubiquinone and participates in the transfer of electrons when ubiquinone is bound. The UQCRB protein is important for hypoxia-induced angiogenesis through mitochondrial reactive oxygen species-mediated signaling.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7381; HGNC ID: HGNC:12582; UniProt: P14927; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006294.5; Chromosome location: 8q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
