SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human UPB1 (beta-ureidopropionase 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human UPB1 qPCR Primer Set – beta-ureidopropionase 1
Also known as: BUP1
About this gene: UPB1 encodes a protein that belongs to the CN hydrolase family. Beta-ureidopropionase catalyzes the last step in the pyrimidine degradation pathway. The pyrimidine bases uracil and thymine are degraded via the consecutive action of dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase, dihydropyrimidinase and beta-ureidopropionase to beta-alanine and beta-aminoisobutyric acid, respectively.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51733; HGNC ID: HGNC:16297; UniProt: Q9UBR1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016327.3; Chromosome location: 22q11.23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
