SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human UNC119 (unc-119 lipid binding chaperone, also called hRG4) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human UNC119 qPCR Primer Set – unc-119 lipid binding chaperone
Also known as: CORD24, HRG4, IMD13, POC7, POC7A
About this gene: UNC119 is specifically expressed in the photoreceptors in the retina. The encoded product shares strong homology with the C. elegans unc119 protein and it can functionally complement the C. elegans unc119 mutation. The UNC119 gene product has been localized to the photoreceptor synapses in the outer plexiform layer of the retina, and suggested to play a role in the mechanism of photoreceptor neurotransmitter release through the synaptic vesicle cycle.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9094; HGNC ID: HGNC:12565; UniProt: Q13432; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005148.4; Chromosome location: 17q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
