Human ULK2 qPCR Primer Set – unc-51 like autophagy activating kinase 2
Also known as: ATG1B, Unc51.2
About this gene: ULK2 encodes a protein that is similar to a serine/threonine kinase in C. elegans which is involved in axonal elongation. The structure of this protein is similar to the C. elegans protein in that both proteins have an N-terminal kinase domain, a central proline/serine rich domain, and a C-terminal domain. The gene is located within the Smith-Magenis syndrome region on chromosome 17.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9706; HGNC ID: HGNC:13480; UniProt: Q8IYT8; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014683.4; Chromosome location: 17p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
