Human ULBP1 qPCR Primer Set – UL16 binding protein 1

Also known as: N2DL-1, NKG2DL1, RAET1I

About this gene: The ULBP1 protein is a ligand of natural killer group 2, member D, an immune system-activating receptor on NK cells and T-cells. Binding of the encoded ligand to NKG2D leads to activation of multiple signal transduction pathways, including those of JAK2, STAT5, ERK and PI3K kinase/Akt. Also, in cytomegalovirus-infected cells, this ligand binds the UL16 glycoprotein and is prevented from activating the immune system.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 80329; HGNC ID: HGNC:14893; UniProt: Q9BZM6; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_025218.4; Chromosome location: 6q25.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
