Human UGT1A1 qPCR Primer Set – UDP glucuronosyltransferase family 1 member A1

Also known as: BILIQTL1, GNT1, HUG-BR1, UDPGT, UDPGT 1-1, UGT1, UGT1A

About this gene: UGT1A1 encodes a UDP-glucuronosyltransferase, an enzyme of the glucuronidation pathway that transforms small lipophilic molecules, such as steroids, bilirubin, hormones, and drugs, into water-soluble, excretable metabolites. The locus includes thirteen unique alternate first exons followed by four common exons. Each of the remaining nine 5' exons may be spliced to the four common exons, resulting in nine proteins with different N-termini and identical C-termini.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 54658; HGNC ID: HGNC:12530; UniProt: P22309; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000463.3; Chromosome location: 2q37.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
