Human UBQLN2 qPCR Primer Set – ubiquilin 2
Also known as: ALS15, CHAP1, DSK2, HRIHFB2157, N4BP4, PLIC2
About this gene: UBQLN2 encodes a ubiquitin-like protein that shares high degree of similarity with related products in yeast, rat and frog. Ubiquilins contain a N-terminal ubiquitin-like domain and a C-terminal ubiquitin-associated domain. They physically associate with both proteasomes and ubiquitin ligases; and thus, are thought to functionally link the ubiquitination machinery to the proteasome to affect in vivo protein degradation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 29978; HGNC ID: HGNC:12509; UniProt: Q9UHD9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_013444.4; Chromosome location: Xp11.21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
